FOLLOWING DEAD MEN
Following Dead Men // The Book of John
With Easter coming soon, we turn our attention to the resurrection of Christ on that great morning. But it is important to understand the events that led up to the triumphal entry and trial of Christ. Before the resurrection of Jesus, another was raised from the dead. Had this event not taken place many would not have followed Jesus or believed in the power of resurrection. Although the death of Lazarus began in sadness, it ended in belief. "So then Jesus told them plainly, 'Lazarus is dead, and for your sake I am glad I was not there, so that you may believe." Many would follow Jesus to Jerusalem because of this resurrection. What they would witness there was the resurrection that would save the world from sin.
Join us as we follow dead men who were not left in the grave for the sake of the gospel.
