Pastor of Preaching & Vision
Rob Cripps
Rob Cripps has been at Capstone Community Bible Church since 2008 and is the Lead Pastor of Preaching and Vision. He completed his B.A. at Briercrest College and Seminary and his M.T.S. at McMaster University. He is currently a doctoral candidate at McMaster Divinity.
Prior to Capstone, Rob spent 8 years in youth ministry at King Bible Church.
Rob has been married to Becky since 2000 and has four children: Jackson, Lucy, Charlotte and Elijah.
Ministry Director
Joanne Jackson
Joanne has been part of the Capstone church community for her entire life! With a strong gift of leadership and care, and a love for God and others, she serves on staff as the Ministry Director, overseeing many aspects of church life.
Joanne and her husband Jeff live in Mississauga with their daughter Jenai, and have a heart for ministry, the outdoors, cribbage, reading, and all things sci-fi!
Pastor of Community Care & Engagement
Andrew Ironside
Andrew’s role is to serve the Capstone family through practical and pastoral care, and by helping the congregation engage in the life of the church. He also works in partnership with Youth Unlimited to coordinate youth outreach in South Etobicoke, through the Lakeshore Soccer League and other community initiatives. Andrew and his wife Stephanie live in South Etobicoke with their two kids, are big fans of Survivor, and dream of one day seeing the Maple Leafs win the Stanley Cup.
Administrator
Rebecca Sandercock
Rebecca is the Office Administrator at Capstone and also serves on our Missions Committee. She enjoys coordinating the many day-to-day tasks to keep things running smoothly. Rebecca has a passion for missions, having spent her childhood overseas as a missionary kid. She attends Capstone with her husband and three kids.
In her spare time, she loves to read, do puzzles, and plan their family’s next trip!
Pastor of Community Engagement
Jesse Sudirgo
Jesse joined the Capstone staff team in 2023.
His primary responsibilities are to oversee a brand new Food Bank ministry, and to help church members engage in service and mission.
Director of Development
Jim Foster
As the Director of Development, Jim serves our Capstone church community by supporting our staff's development and ministry effectiveness. He also helps with the Capstone properties development and management. Jim and his family have lived in Mimico since 2007 and are passionate about loving God and being loving neighbours. He and his wife are big Blue Jays fans, love hiking and canoeing, and enjoy meeting with friends at Jimmy's Coffee, of course.
House Church Coordinator
Katie Ogiba
Katie began attending Capstone in 2013, which became the catalyst for her ever-growing excitement for the Bible and discipleship. Over the years, she has volunteered in multiple ministries at Capstone, from nursery, to House Church, to serving on the teaching team.
Katie holds a B.A in History, a MSc in Education, and completed her MTS in Biblical Studies at McMaster in 2023. She also serves as a Discipleship Coordinator for Youth Unlimited's Young Parents ministry.
Katie is married to Greg, and is mom to Owen, Ethan, and Cameron, who will all say she spends entirely too much time reading.
Interim Worship Director
John-Mark Cockram
John-Mark (J-M) joined the Capstone staff team in 2023. John-Mark and his wife Loreli have been in full time ministry since 2005 when they spent two years as intercultural liaisons in Ghana, West Africa. On returning to Canada, J-M and Loreli served in churches in Barrie and Etobicoke. When not working at Worship Director at Capstone John-Mark works for Youth Unlimited (Toronto Youth for Christ) coaching their Light Patrol street outreach team. A life-long musician, J-M has a love of both worship and popular music, especially the music of the 1970s. You can find J-M scouting garage sales and thrift stores around Toronto!
