Lead Pastor
Preaching & Vision
Rob Cripps
Rob Cripps has been at Capstone Community Bible Church since 2008 and is the Lead Pastor of Preaching and Vision. Prior to moving to the Capstone, Rob spent 8 years in youth ministry at King Bible Church. He has a B.R.E in Christian Studies from Briercrest College and Seminary, a Masters of Theology from McMaster Divinity College, and a Doctorate in Practical Theology from McMaster Divinity College. He is also a sessional instructor at Tyndale College and Seminary.
Rob has been married to Becky since 2000 and has four children: Jackson, Lucy, Charlotte and Elijah.
Ministry Director
Joanne Jackson
Joanne has been part of the Capstone church community since her childhood.
With a strong gift of leadership, event planning, and care - and a love for God and others - she serves on staff as the Ministry Director, overseeing many aspects of church life.
On Sundays, Joanne is also involved with coordinating the children's ministry team (Capstone Kids), and oversees our youth ministry interns.

Joanne and her husband Jeff live in Mississauga with their daughter Jenai, and have a heart for ministry, the outdoors, cribbage, reading, and all things sci-fi!

Associate Pastor
Care & Engagement
Andrew Ironside
Andrew’s role is to serve the Capstone family through practical and pastoral care, and by helping the congregation engage in the life of the church. He also works in partnership with Youth Unlimited to coordinate youth outreach in South Etobicoke, through the Lakeshore Soccer League and other community initiatives.
Andrew and his wife Stephanie live in South Etobicoke with their two kids, are big fans of Survivor, and dream of one day seeing the Maple Leafs win the Stanley Cup.
Administrator
Rebecca Sandercock
Rebecca is the Office Administrator at Capstone and also serves on our Missions Committee. She enjoys coordinating the many day-to-day tasks to keep things running smoothly. Rebecca has a passion for missions, having spent her childhood overseas as a missionary kid. She attends Capstone with her husband and three kids.
In her spare time, she loves to read, do puzzles, and plan their family’s next trip!

Director of Learning and Development
Jim Foster
Jim serves our Capstone church community by supporting our staff's development and coaching them for ministry impact. He also facilitates the missions program, the Alpha Course, and manages the Capstone properties.
Jim and his family have lived in Mimico since 2007 and started attending Capstone in 2022. They are big Blue Jays fans, love dog-walking and canoeing, and enjoy meeting with friends at local cafes.

Katie Ogiba
Katie began attending Capstone in 2013, which became the catalyst for her ever-growing excitement for the Bible and discipleship. Over the years, she has volunteered in multiple ministries at Capstone, from nursery, to House Church, to serving on the teaching team.
Katie holds a B.A in History, a MSc in Education, and completed her MTS in Biblical Studies at McMaster in 2023. She also serves as a Discipleship Coordinator for Youth Unlimited's Young Parents ministry.
Katie is married to Greg, and is mom to Owen, Ethan, and Cameron, who will all say she spends entirely too much time reading.

Youth Ministry & Food Bank
Billy Osei
Billy serves as Associate Pastor of Youth Ministry and Food Bank, leading the vision of meeting physical needs through the food bank as a tangible expression of God’s Kingdom. In youth ministry, he is passionate about creating a safe and engaging environment where young people can grow spiritually and deepen their understanding of God. He holds a Bachelor of Social Work from Toronto Metropolitan University and is committed to ensuring his ministries reflect dignity, care, and the love of Christ.
Billy is married to his wife Rebecca and is a proud father to their son, Tobias. He enjoys trying poutine, listening to podcasts during walks, and discovering more of who God is in community.
Youth Ministry Coordinator
Lucy Cripps
Lucy Cripps has grown up in Capstone and through its programs, which she now gets to be a part of leading. Her role is to run the weeknight youth programming, as well as Sunday School programs.
She loves anything to do with programming, having fun, and learning about Jesus. She is also currently attending University of Toronto and earning her bachelor’s degree in English and Dramaturgy.
In her spare time, she loves to read, play board games, and spend time with her friends.
Children's Ministry Coordinator
Sebastian Caldwell
Seb has a passion and love for youth, particularly journeying and encouraging them in discipleship and evangelism. Seb has served globally in Hong Kong, the Philippines, and now Canada. He studied Theology at University, with an emphasis on Urban and Intercultural Ministry, and is excited to work in the community of Etobicoke. He is involved in various Capstone ministries, such as the children's and youth programs, and our Missions Committee.
Seb is married to his wife Olivia, and they both love this church.
